Insight into my own patterns and surfacing awareness of past fears/self expectations on which to reflect.

I especially liked the place, the people and the programme.

Although somewhat sceptical at first I liked the Open Space events with the freedom to stay with one event, to flit about or go to none. I liked and valued the small groups, and found my small group to be extremely supportive, and I enjoyed preparing food with them.

The overall effect of a community which feels free and freeing, and endures for a long enough time to make a resounding impact on my life.

The spontaneity and freedom to be real.

I am learning to genuinely let people be where they are, and not require something different from them. I am also learning that although I am getting "better" at this, I am not there yet. This is probably my biggest learning, and one that I can continue to practice. I am also learning that in a supportive environment I can take more risks than I thought.

I was so excited, thrilled to have done it and participated. A week is long enough then I was high for 3 weeks. All my friends said I looked different and sounded likewise. I saw that there was something in my future which wasn't there before. The world looked brighter.
